The music on this disc is best viewed as small sets.

"The Morning Show" (opening and closing) frame the album.

When combined, "Dewdrops Don't Descend", "Grey Clouds Approach", Albert's Train", and Fried
Samosa" make up "Oenyaw's Psychedelic Brunch".

"Minimalambience 1, 2, and 3" are three variations on the same theme.

"Mirror rorriM" and "rorriM Mirror" are two varitions on the same theme.

"Skipping Stones Stoned" and "The Warm Pond" explore serenity.

"The Fun House" and "Laugh With Us" present a carnival atmosphere.

"Variations on a Loaded String", "sin(r2)/r2", and "The Ripple Tank" are pieces based on
mathematical models or expressions.

"Wheel of Fortune" is a
bonus track (hey, wow!  A major marketing tools in place!)
This one is very different for me.  No guitar or instruments whatsoever.  An enhanced recording of a
mechanical device.  (When it comes to Tarot Cards, the wheel of fortune is not necessarily a good
thing.)

The title implies futile acts of civil disobedience.  Acts which are necessary to calm the soul.  Even
though one may know the act will not make any difference, it is an act that must be done.  So, here
goes.  I have recently turned 50.  The music I have presented over the past two or three years in the
virtual world of cyberspace have been examples of how I feel.  This one is no exception.  I live in a
nation which is built on personal freedom, but those freedoms have been torn apart, one by one over
the past few decades.  I had a number of conversations recently that concluded with the agreed
statement that the late 1970's was a fun time to live.  Life was much more free.  Music was more
important than it is today.  Art was held in high esteem , whereas today, it is hardly even looked at.
A delusion of paranoia has swept the emotions of our society away and hidden it in an anxiety closet.

To put it simply, we are adults.  Let's start acting as such.
